Biography
I provide psychotherapy to adult and adolescent individuals and couples. My work is psychoanalytically based and informed by thirty years of Buddhist meditation practice. I have a special interest in working with older adults as well as anyone affected by actual or impending losses.
This includes people who need to work on grief or bereavement, the end of relationships, serious illness or facing the reality of death. Many other common problems like depression and anxiety are often influenced by our experiences of and attitudes toward loss.
I am also skilled at working with people who want to move forward in new directions. Change and growth are inextricably linked to an ability to face loss, accept and understand it, and then take the lessons learned onward.
I take Medicare and will help you to bill other companies, if you should choose to use your insurance.
